When God Speaks

Have you ever had a moment where something just clicked—like a verse in the Bible jumped off the page, or a friend said exactly what you needed to hear? That might’ve been God speaking to you. He doesn’t always use a loud voice or dramatic signs. More often, He speaks in quiet, simple ways—through Scripture, a gentle tug in your heart, wise words from someone else, or in the stillness when you finally slow down.

The truth is, God wants to speak to us. He’s not far away or silent. He’s always communicating—sometimes we’re just too distracted or busy to notice. Think about how many voices are coming at us every day: social media, news, podcasts, to-do lists. With all that noise, it’s no wonder God’s voice can be hard to hear.

That’s why it’s so important to make space for Him. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Just a few quiet minutes in the morning, reading your Bible or praying honestly, can shift everything. Ask Him to speak. Then listen. You might be surprised how clearly He does.

Jesus said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” -John 10:27(NLT)

God knows you. He loves you. And He wants to guide you—not just on the big stuff, but in your everyday life.

Today, take a moment to pause and listen. Whether it’s through a verse, a conversation, or a quiet feeling in your spirit, God is speaking. Are you tuning in?
