Where Faith and Science Meet

Science and the Bible aren’t at odds—they simply answer different questions.

Science asks: “How does the world work?” while the Bible asks: “Why does the world exist, and what does it mean for us?” Together, they give us a fuller picture of God’s truth.

Think of it like standing in front of a famous painting. If you look closely, you see the brushstrokes—the way the artist layered color and texture to bring the image to life. That’s what science does. It studies the processes, mechanisms, and laws woven into creation. From the complexity of DNA to the vastness of galaxies, science points us to the incredible craftsmanship of God.

But if you step back, you don’t just see brushstrokes—you see meaning. The painting evokes emotion, tells a story, or stirs your heart. That’s what Scripture does. It tells us why we’re here, what our lives mean, and how we can know the Artist Himself.

Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” The universe isn’t just a system of laws—it’s a masterpiece declaring its Maker.

Science helps us marvel at the details, while the Bible reveals the purpose behind it all. When we put the two together, we find that truth isn’t divided. God is the Author of both creation and Scripture, and both invite us to know Him more deeply.
